Hooverphonic will play in Sofia on October 9, Monte Music reported, quoted by BTA. The Universiade event is part of The Magnificent Tree tour – named after their third album.

This will be the band’s third visit to Bulgaria, but this time the Belgians are coming with the iconic Geike Arnart, a singer of the smash hit from the 90’s – Mad About You.
“What better way to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Mad About You than with a new concert tour and the unexpected return of Geike Arnart,” Hooverphonic’s official website said.
The trio promises a concert in which there will be something for every fan, a mix between old and new tracks and surprises.
Producer and composer Alex Carrier and guitarist Raymond Greets have been the backbone of the band since its inception. Many of the songs are part of soundtracks of movies and TV productions such as “Stolen Beauty”, “I Know What You Did Last Summer”, “Permanent Darkness”, “From the Crime Scene”, “Entourage”, “Nikita”, “Forgotten Files”, ” Umbrella Academy.
Over the years, Hooverphonic have worked with a number of vocalists, but from the fall of 2020 the iconic Geige Arnart returns to their lineup.

Among their biggest hits are 2Wicky, Eden, Anger Never Dies, Amalfi, Badaboum and Romantic. The upcoming concert, in addition to them, also includes songs from the album The Magnificent Tree.
